This Celebrity Got A Tacky, Million Dollar Manicure

kelly osbourne million dollar manicure

The famous daughter has had six-figure nails before. She wore Azatures $250,000 black diamond nail polish to the Emmy Awards last year, and was properly lambasted for the ill-taste of it all. She later apologized , saying, Please forgive me for not regretting it, which was remarkably primarily for being the first time weve ever seen someone say sorry not sorry unironically. She really wasnt sorry, though, and to prove it shes splashing out with a bottle thats four times as expensive as the one that got her in trouble last year. This one is Azatures White Diamond nail polish, which seriously costs a million fucking dollars. The bottle has 98 carats of diamonds crushed in it, because youre worth it, and the top of the bottle is made of platinum, because youre an asshole. (Not really you, dear reader, just the hypothetical person paying for this unconscionable waste of money.) Its not even a very cute manicure. We live in a world in which both glitter and Swarovski crystals exist, and can be applied as nail art to cute effect. The only conceivable value add to the diamond manicure is having the opportunity to shout, I am wearing a diamond manicure that costs a million dollars! while someone mugs you for your acrylic tips. At least the polish is part of a celebrity charity competition. Toni Braxton also got a manicure from the $1 million bottle, and the company says it will donate the proceeds to charity depending on which celebrity actually sells the damn thing. If Kelly Osbourne sells it, the proceeds will go to the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Foundation. If Braxton sells it, the proceeds will go to Lupus LA. Were curious about how much of the million-dollar price tag counts as proceeds and will actually be going to the winning charity, should someone actually buy this monstrosity. Were also curious about whether any person would be willing to spend $1,000,000 on a bottle of used nail polish, even one thats sort of for charity.

Because Pimpadelic funk master Morris Day will do what he does best at this Friday night show: generate infectious music that makes people get up and move! Backed by the Times rock-influenced funk jams, this will be a do-not-miss show! In 1983 when Princes Purple Rain movie helped propel Morris Day & The Time to the forefront, the mainstream had just discovered this funky band. But the Minneapolis man named Morris and his band the Time had already scored such hits as Get It Up and Cool from their 1981 album debut The Time; “777-9311” and “Walk” from their second LP What Time Is It. But it was 1984 when they broke large with The Bird and their best known smash to date Jungle Love from their third LP Ice Cream Castle; and then a hit off 1990s Jerk Out from their fourth LP Pandemonium. Condensation, released in October 2011, marked the groups 30th Anniversary. Day released three solo albums as well: The Color of Success, Daydreaming and Guaranteed. Born in Minneapolis, Day had a flair for fashion. Inspired by photographs of his grandpa in zoot suits, a true fashionista was formed. Day went to school with Prince Rogers Nelson and sang in Prince’s first band Grand Central. Prince grew as an artist and so did the opportunities around him.
