The Golden Anniversary of the City of Fremantle Art Collection (1958-2008) will be marked with the publication of a collection book and a major touring exhibition Fertile Soil opening at the Fremantle Arts Centre in October 2008.
Fertile Soil celebrates the rich diversity and quality of art held in the City’s Collection highlighting the work of twenty one leading Fremantle artists, who have made an important contribution to the visual arts culture in the city since 1973.
