Community Information - Northbank River Wall:
The jetty has been proposed by a private group, and the wall by the City of Fremantle, it is intended the detailed designing and construction will be completed together by one organization.
Steps to provide access to and from the water are dependant on the detailed jetty design and will be specified with it.
The wooden promenade areas are proposed using the original timbers salvaged from the Woolscourers building at the site. Details of areas etc. are dependant on the quality of logistics of the wood.
The extension of the proposed treatments in front of Lot 28 is currently under discussion with its owners as part of that development.
Funding for and designs for further refinements such as lighting, any balustrading etc will be developed in the next financial year.
