Environmental Testing of Former Land-Fill Sites
The City of Fremantle has undertaken extensive site investigations on the former landfill site to determine the nature and extent of waste material located in the site.
A groundwater monitoring system has been installed on the site to determine the the impact on groundwater beneath the former landfill site.
Monitoring of the groundwater is being undertaken on a six-monthly basis at this stage.
All site investigation reports to date are available for viewing in the Local History section of the Fremantle Library.
