City of Fremantle and Climate Change
To tackle greenhouse emissions in the community the City of Fremantle are engaged in a regional partnership coordinated by the Southern Metropolitan Regional Council.
The Regional Community Greenhouse Project (http://www.smrc.com.au/projects/rcggp/index.cfm) includes the Green Houses project (http://www.smrc.com.au/projects/rcggp/greenhouses.cfm) involving over 280 households and 2 primary schools in reducing energy use in the home
