Sustainable Home Project: request for proposals

04 Jun 2008
CONSULTANTS, businesses and non-government organisations are invited to be part of an office tenancy in Hilton's Sustainable Home Project.

Designed to show how retro-fitting an existing home can achieve energy and water savings, the house will be open at set times across the week and weekends for public viewing.

It will also be used as a venue for the award-winning sustainable living course Living Smart, developed by Murdoch University in partnership with The Meeting Place, City of Fremantle and the Southern Metropolitan Regional Council.

Sustainability-related consultants, businesses or non-government organisations, interested in renting a room as office space for a temporary period of up to 18 months, are invited to submit a proposal.

The brief is available from City of Fremantle sustainability officer Isabella Jennings on 9432 9735 or e-mail isabellaj@fremantle.wa.gov.au. Proposals should be submitted by 5pm, Monday, June 23.
