Socks appeal! Knitting lessons at Fremantle City Library

WANT to keep your feet warm this winter? Then head to the Fremantle City Library in August to learn the best ways of knitting your own socks.
Using a basic step-by-step formula, Mary Tarrant will spin her yarn as she guides people on how to knit socks in any size or design during the four-week course.
The only knitting knowledge required is how to cast on, knit and purl, along with time to knit between each lesson.
Classes are $25 to cover materials and will be held 9.30am to 12.30pm each Friday on August 15, 22, 29 and September 5 – call Mary Tarrant on 9335 7059 for bookings and payment. Numbers are limited.
The Fremantle City Library is located in the Town Hall Centre at 8 William Street, Fremantle.
