Welcome the New Year with a party unlike any other! In the main room, the dirty beats will be at full volume as resident DECKZ kicks off the party. Then the master of filthy house music, Groove Terminator, follows to push the party into overdrive from 11pm.

New electro-sensation SYKE N SUGARSTARR will take it to another level after 2am playing all your fav dance floor anthems. Upstairs resident DJ D-Tuck and crew will have the dance floor rockin to a dynamic mix of rock-blockin’ beats.

At Little Creatures, there will be entertainment throughout the night including Afro percussion by Akwaaba, drag queens, DJ Paul Gamblin and even some opera. The kitchen will be open as usual with the venue open until 1am.

Over at the Creatures Loft, four-piece jazz outfit Two Out and Akwaaba will be performing live in the Red Room and DJs Sean Gill and Joe Byrne (The Bloods) will spin some tunes. In the Good Room, DJs Dan the Man (Cardboard City Records) and Paul Bilsby will be on the decks.

After a six-month break, the Layabouts are set to do a huge show at Clancy’s Fish Pub in Fremantle on New Year’s Eve.

Having been living and gigging in Melbourne, frontman Tom Fisher is set to return for this huge one-off event. Since relocating to Australia’s music capital, Tom has been extremely busy regularly playing the Layabouts’ tunes at such Melbourne iconic venues as the Vineyard, the Evelyn and the Retreat to name a few.

With original Layabouts guitarist Jesse Beaton helping out, the pair have been winning over audiences everywhere.

Joining the boys on New Year’s Eve will be Samuel Marcus and Ben T.D, the brothers from legendary folk rockers Ruby’s Grace, playing their solo tunes and a few of the old hits together for the first time in a few years.

The show starts around 9pm and, judging on the size of the last Clancy’s show, this should be a big one. Entry is free.
