Book yourself in: Dr Peter Dingle at annual meeting of library members
12 Nov 2007
AS PART of its annual meeting of members from 6pm, Thursday, November 22, Fremantle City Library will also play host to Dr Peter Dingle, speaking on climate change.
“It’s an opportunity to find out what the library has been doing for you, ask questions about any library issues and show support for the service,” City Librarian Julie Caddy said.
“Dr Dingle is an associate professor and leading researcher in health and the environment at Murdoch University and will provide some valuable insights into the very topical issue of climate change, ahead of the Federal election.
“He exudes so much passion, basked up by tangible facts that people can relate to, making all Dr Dingle’s talks thoroughly engaging.”
For more information and bookings, contact the library on 9432 9766. More details about Dr Dingle can be found at www.drdingle.com.
The annual library meeting is about 30 minutes, followed by guest speaker Dr Dingle and then light refreshments.
The Fremantle City Library is located at 8 William Street, Fremantle, in the Town Hall Centre.
