HOME RETROFITTING EXPO AT THE FREMANTLE TOWN HALL

An Expo to assist homeowners to improve the water and energy efficiency of existing homes is being held in Fremantle in October.

Green Skills is holding a Home Retrofitting Expo at the Fremantle Town Hall on Sunday October 12th from 10am-5pm. 

There will be a range of industry and community exhibits featuring different technologies and providing information on how to improve the comfort and performance of homes. The Expo will showcase insulation, energy efficient home heating and cooling, solar power generation, natural lighting, environmental plumbing, rainwater harvesting, grey water reuse, sustainable landscaping, energy efficient house design and eco renovation.  Experts will also present a series of free workshops throughout the day on various aspects of home retrofitting. Children are welcome and activities will be available such as building structures out of recycled materials.

The Retrofitting Expo is supported by the Sustainable Energy Development Office and the City of Fremantle.  Entry is by gold coin donation.
