Fremantle First- what’s in it for you?

Fremantle First is an initiative run by the City of Fremantle for the business community to promote and market Fremantle to local and overseas visitors. The main aim is to create better business for all Fremantle businesses by attracting more businesses, visitors and events to the city. The initiative is funded by the City of Fremantle through revenues from differential business and residential rates. As Fremantle First primarily benefits businesses, all businesses are encouraged to contact the City of Fremantle with any related queries or concerns. The Economic Development & Marketing Business Unit of the City of Fremantle manages the initiative. Below are the team members who are on-hand to answer your queries and who are always keen to learn of new ideas on how to promote Fremantle. |
Your City Your Say
The Economic Development & Marketing team work on the basis of the motto “Your City, Your Say”, encouraging all businesses to actively communicate any suggestions or issues they have with Fremantle First that affect them to the City of Fremantle. This allows the City of Fremantle to better accommodate businesses’ needs, as well as sustain transparent two-way relationships between the city and all Fremantle businesses.
Current News
In mid-June, all central Fremantle businesses will receive a letter from the Mayor and a database survey so that the City of Fremantle can collect business contact details for all future communications. The letter will highlight a few changes the City of Fremantle will be making and also the importance of filling out and returning the survey. The Mayor’s letter and the database survey “Business Owners Details” can be accessed through the following links. Businesses wishing to do so can complete the survey online.
