FreoStar Suburban Public Transport Service

Freostar is a sustainable transport initiative that was first proposed in 1998 as a way of improving bus access to the city centre for residents of Fremantle’s suburbs. The service was introduced on Saturday 10 March 2007. Two separate routes service residential areas that are not within easy walking distance of a high frequency Transperth service such as the Fremantle CAT or Circle Route bus.

On trips into Fremantle city centre, passengers are picked up from designated stops along the two routes. The city centre terminus is in Kings Square outside the Town Hall. On return journeys, passengers can alight at any location along the route providing it is safe to do so.

Services operate between 10.00am and 5.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays – refer to the timetable and route map attached. Please refer to guidelines for passengers attached.
