The Children's Library offers extensive resources for ages 0 - 12 years.

Library staff are available to help children and parents choose a great read or find the best information for a school assignment. Please ask!

Storytime for children aged 2- 5 years is held at 10am on Thursdays and 11am Saturdays. Come along and hear some stories, join in the rhymes and create a simple craft. No bookings required. Children will be made very welcome.

A special 9 week story session program for children aged 18 - 30 months old, designed to introduce language, literature and the library to toddlers and their parents. Runs during each school term. Bookings are necessary.

During each school holiday a program of free activities is organised for children aged 5 - 12 years. Get your program from the library during the last 2 weeks of term.

The Library welcomes displays from schools, community groups or organisations. Please contact the Children's Librarian to arrange a booking for your display.

We welcome visits by schools, playgroups and day care centres. Please contact the Children's Librarian to discuss a program for your visit. Children's Library staff are also able to visit schools and groups at their own venues.
