Council has a number of goals in support of the vision - Responsive to Our Community, Focused on Our Customers, and Local Government at its most effective and efficient.
The Management Team at the City of Fremantle are committed to creating an organisation that is known for integrity, consultation, leadership, service, and quality services. Becoming and remaining a high performing team is the top priority for City of Fremantle.
Council has embarked on a process of change in order to operate effectively and efficiently which has seen a competitive practice policy developed. Business Planning and benchmarking are now a normal part of council activities and continuous improvement is occurring across all council activities. All of Council is required to focus on future goals by setting performance targets, as well as constantly monitoring current performance levels.
