The Information and Technology Business Unit manages, delivers and supports quality information systems and services to increase the effectiveness of Council's services and operations. Information and Technology constantly monitors the latest developments in IT and software to ensure that the organisation is able to utilise information technology to meet current and future needs, and to maintain or advance levels of competitiveness. Information and Technology provides support for users of electronic and 'hard copy' communications systems within the organisation. Core functions include:
- Information systems strategy.
- PC software and hardware support (including training and user request / problem resolution)
- Telecommunications.
- Installing, supporting and maintaining the Wide Area and Local Area Networks.System Administration, and
- Intranet/Internet development and maintenance.
- Records management.

The Service and Information business unit is responsible for providing customers with information and support with regard to the City's services. Service and Information is also responsible for the operation of the central switchboard.
Commercial Parking
Commercial Parking provides parking facilities for residents of, and visitors to, Fremantle. The unit also provides security surveillance of parking facilities.
Properties
Properties undertakes all administrative aspects of the City's property portfolio, and aims to maximise returns on property investments for the benefit of ratepayers.

The Integrated Patrols Section consists of 3 integrated teams of Parking Administration Rangers, Rangers and Administration. IPO - Parking and Rangers patrol the City in order to address breaches of the relevant sections pertaining to State and Council's Local Laws. Rangers attempt to anticipate problems that may occur and put contingency plans in place.
