Bill Massie arrived in WA in November 1980 from Aberdeen, Scotland.  This may be why some call me the FLYING SCOTSMAN.

With my wife Barbara we have raised our two daughters Amanda & Natalie who have increased our family with 5 grandchildren.

For many years I have been involved in the community in one way or another. Also like some other Councillors, issues in the local area which require attention from time to time need some-one who cares about their neighbourhood. Plus it is a privilage to serve and give back to our great city.

This I expect is what has lead me to being motivated to gain a position on Council.  Hopefully bringing a fresh approach, dedication and hard work, which the whole community can benifit from.

When I am not at Council meetings, I am in the real estate business or with my family.

May I recommend to any-one willing to donate some time, it is worthwhile participating in any of the community groups, who are always keen to have extra hands on board.
